Getting started - What to expect
1. Online Form
Filling out the form takes just a minute and helps us see if our treatment is a good fit for you. After submitting, watch for a welcome email with steps to set up your Portal.
2. Client Portal
Next, you will receive an email from TherapyPortal.com on behalf of PTSD Rx. Follow the link to log-in to your Portal and complete the intake forms. Once completed, you can schedule your appointment.
3. Meet With Your Prescriber
Login to the Portal to meet with your psychiatrist. If you and the doctor agree on starting prazosin or doxazosin, they will send the prescription to your preferred pharmacy and your card will be charged. Your receipt is then uploaded to your Portal. Pricing is as follows: $300 initial visit, $150 follow-ups. Most patients need 2–4 visits in the first six months. If you are not a good candidate for either medication, there is no charge for the visit.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who don't have insurance or who aren't using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
